DENVER, CO – Oct. 26, 2022: The Colorado Commission on Higher Education is soliciting proposals for grants designed to expand the use of open educational resources (OER) across public postsecondary institutions in the state. The OER grant program is in its fifth year and will award $1 million this grant cycle.
DENVER – Today, Governor Polis and the Colorado Department of Higher Education announced the fifth annual Colorado Free Application Days, allowing students to apply for free from Tuesday, Oct. 18 through Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, to public colleges and universities and several private institutions in Colorado.

DENVER, CO – Sept. 29, 2022: Dr. Angie Paccione, executive director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE), appointed 15 members to Colorado’s Disability Services in Higher Education Advisory Committee that will advise higher education leaders and policymakers on necessary services and best practices aimed at improving access and outcomes for students with disabilities in higher education.

DENVER, CO – Sept. 8, 2022: The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative, a program of the Colorado Department of Higher Education, is taking applications for a new scholarship program geared at giving formerly committed youth a chance to pursue a college degree. The Second Chance Scholarship program provides funding of up to $5,000 a year and student support services to individuals awarded. Participants can choose among many college and career path options, including a traditional college degree, online and certificate programs.
